BOWLING (YOUTH)
Kids ages 3-13, come and join your friends here at
SWSRA bowling! We can add bumpers for the beginners
or for more of a challenge, bowl without them to build your
skills. Staff will be on hand to help give you pointers and
develop your game. Fee includes 1 game of bowling, shoe
rental, one t-shirt per year and staff supervision. You’ll also
be invited to our annual sports banquet.

MESSY PLAY & ANYTHING GOES
Here’s a program the kids will love! Join us on Saturdays
to have fun, make friends, share a snack, and do what you
love most! Kids will love our new play table where they can
splash and play with water, dip their hands in and build
with moon sand and create shapes out of bubber. To get
more creative, we will also get messy with arts and crafts
projects. Finally, kids can sing along with Disney Sing It!
Karaoke or test their skills with Wii sports, Pictionary, and
more. Come play with us and don’t be afraid to get a little
messy, anything goes in this program!

Are you looking to improve your bowling game? Are you
looking to spend some time with your friends at the alley?
Bowling with SWSRA is a great way to do both! We offer
several different bowling programs, each of which are
guaranteed to show you a “striking” good time. Grab some
friends and come on down to the alley, it’s where friends
and fun come together. Fee includes 1 game of bowling,
shoe rental, one t-shirt per year and staff supervision.

DANCE, DANCE, DANCE
Put on your dancing shoes and join SWSRA as we test our
fancy footwork, as well as learn some new steps. In this
class, you will be taught new moves, routines and games.
From the Cha-Cha Slide to the Freeze Dance game;
this class is all about dance, dance and more dance! On
the final day of this program, we will have a dance party

FUN WITH FITNESS
Keep in shape and have a healthy lifestyle by exercising
and using a variety of workout equipment. To shake things
up this year we will add in workouts from the interactive
Nintendo Wii! With the Wii we can watch the characters on
TV do the exact workouts that we are doing in class! This
is a great way to enhance coordination, balance, strength
and muscle tone, all while having fun! Wear comfortable
clothes and bring a bottle of water.

GAME NIGHT
Do you get bored and lazy over the cold winter months

excitement… and maybe even prizes!

GROUP SWIM LESSONS
Do you want to work on your swimming skills? This class
is designed for swimmers of all disabilities. Participants
will be evaluated at the beginning and end of each
session to assess skills. We will work on floating, kicking,
breathing, freestyle and backstroke. This is a great
program for beginners, or those wanting to improve their
abilities in the water. The typical ratio for this class is 1:2.

laughter!

PETLAND’S PET THERAPY
The goal of Pet Therapy for Petland is to enhance the
human-animal bond. You will be involved in a therapeutic
experience that will include petting different animals,
learning how to hold them and interesting facts. Petland
will provide animals for you in this therapy session
because they feel through social support, relaxation and
nurturing, people are able to derive health benefits from

AQUA THERAPY
Feeling stiff and tired? Wake up your joints and muscles

individuals restricted from traditional exercise programs
to safely participate with limited strain on the body. Join

SPECIAL OLYMPICS TRACK & FIELD
Sprint on over and join this year’s Special Olympics track
and field team! Eager participants can train in running
and field events for the area meet in May. Sign up and

status. *We will compete in the area meet on Saturday, May
5th. *All area meet gold medal winners go the distance by

Jump in and train with the SWSRA Special Olympic Swim
team. Our coaching staff will help you improve your overall
fitness and perfect existing swimming skills. Swimmers
will compete in the area meet. Gold medal winners will
qualify for the 2012 Special Olympic Summer games in
June. Swimmers must be able to swim one length of the
pool. You must have a current medical application on file
